Christopher Belluschi is a sculptor of wood and stone. Born in Tacoma, Washington in 1996, he graduated from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington with a BFA in Studio Art, and a minor in Anthropology. In 2022, he began an apprenticeship with sculptor M.J. Anderson, working alongside her in her Nehalem, OR studio. In 2024, he accompanied Anderson to her other studio in Carrara, Italy, procuring and carving stone in the local tradition. His current work is an exploration of form, light, and the subtleties of figuration.
